Winners and full results for the Arkansas State Championships – Heptathlon, Decathlon
Individual girls and boys from schools around the state competed in this year’s heptathlon and decathlon championships May 15 and 16, 2013, in Fayetteville, Ark.
The top scorer and new state champion for the heptathlon is Kelsey Herman, a junior from Crossett, Ark.
Second place in the heptathlon was Payton Stumbaugh, a junior from Springdale Har-Ber High School. Third place was Logan Morton, a junior from Bentonville High School.
The boys’ decathlon state champion is Alex Miles, a senior, from Rogers Heritage High School (Rogers, Ark.).
Dan Spickes, a junior from Rogers Heritage High School was second. Third place was Clint Ligon, a senior from Heber Springs, Ark.
