Harding Football Finishes 19th in Final AFCA Poll

SEARCY – The Harding football team finished the 2012 season ranked No. 19 in the final AFCA Division II Coaches Poll. It is the first time a Bison football team has finished the season nationally ranked since the 1992 squad ranked No. 7 in the final NAIA poll.

Harding had a 9-2 overall record and a 7-1 mark in Great American Conference play. The Bisons advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time in program history.

Harding reached as high as No. 12 in the poll during the 2012 season.
